The New Year brings the excitement of the CADC Conference! Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the 17th Annual CADC Seminar and Conference in Sacramento March 19-20, 2010 at the Sacramento Holiday Inn – Capital Plaza. We are thrilled to offer a great lineup this year!

Holiday Inn - Sacramento Capitol Plaza

On Friday, you are invited to join us as we begin our two-day event with a buffet lunch at noon with the CADC Board and Appellate Project Directors (lunch not included in program fee). Following lunch, we will begin our program offering 9.5 hours of MCLE credits with an informal question & answer session with the Project Directors hosted by CADC’s Project Director Liaison, Marcia Levine. Next all members are invited to attend the CADC Board of Directors quarterly board meeting. After the board meeting, we are pleased to offer outstanding presentations by two highly distinguished speakers. Justice Arthur Scotland, Presiding Justice of the Third District Court of Appeal will be our first guest speaker. Following Justice Scotland, former California Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso will join us as our Keynote Speaker.

The evening festivities will then begin, commencing with a short walk to Old Sacramento for our annual no-host cocktail party at Fats Catering. Following cocktails, we will enjoy a sit-down dinner event, complete with entertainment by CADC member Chip Northup and his musical group The Crawdads, joined by former Yolo County Public Defender Barry “The Fish” Melton (dinner not included in program fee). It promises to be a magical evening of friendship and camaraderie in Old Sacramento!
